"Phantastic" the mysterious Jean Le Fennec with its original sleeve in graphics is a unique work that is poetic and pop fantasize many collectors saw its rarity. Bootleg a few years ago by the Japanese disc has never been reprinted since.
A priori, the Fennec would rather be in Belgium, the disc was recorded in the studio Madeleine in Brussels, arranged by the Belgian pianist Willy Albimoor (1924/2004) and produced by Roland Kluger another Belgian.
(Albimor know the international success in 1972 with his composition disco "Jungle Fever" for Chakachas also produced by Kluger.)

The Fennec has signed nine songs strung gapless, we account the complex stories interspersed with wonderful sound effects in sync with the themes of the songs.
"Phantastic" starts with the story of a drunk Barnabas abandoned by his shadow, his wife, his kids and his dog on background guitar fuzz!
It continues with a surreal burial or deceased following the procession accompanied by music from beyond the grave. "The Flower" is a poetic account or narrator is jealous of the beautiful plant. Marie Cecile is a declaration of love for nearly 9 minutes at her maid in a country atmosphere, and medieval drama the night of the summer solstice.
Side B starts on the strange and complicated "My other children share" arrangements with the colors of the East, following the horrific "The Sorcerer" or Le Fennec unpacks all his crimes, sophisticated music and meow for "Cat and Mouse". One wonders what The Fennec has smoked for us lay texts as "The Iron ball and" the story of Norbert, who discovered a glass ball with two snowmen in it ... The album ends with "The dislocated is a good soul song which clashes with copper jerk of all.
