When people ask me what NLP, I could not even answer a simple sentence. And yet, I know, the brand and the screw copiously for years.
Long ago, Epicurus said that philosophy was "an activity which, through speeches and arguments, gives us a happy life."
We could define NLP almost the same way: "It is a practical activity that relates to life, as a means of neurology and, if not happiness, freedom goal."
What is important to identify, is the word "activity practice "NLP is not a theory, let alone an immutable truth, but many years, lived experiences, then, that gives amazing results.
The fact of getting to know the passage is almost as icing on the cake, even if that Cherry is so good to taste.
Another important word, freedom. The real goal is to be free. I have long thought that the aim of all philosophy, and NLP is a well, was happy. It seems more true today to say that NLP makes you free, free to be themselves, deconditioned's education (we call them programs), free to think for oneself, to decide his life, to act as one wishes, but this freedom does bring happiness if the person using it all down in his heart to get this really matters to him and is willing to sacrifice, happiness, boredom and success. And what sacrifices are not easy!
Clearly, my job is to make people free, then take them to the path to their own happiness ...
